These messages are meant to be appropriate and valid for you from the day in which you read it and through the following week.
Drawn to a deck of animal spirit cards, I reached my hand out and let the universe guide me to an answer for this week’s divination. When I drew a card, it was not what I had expected, instead this week the universe sent yet another message about togetherness. A time to protect the herd, be the guardian and warrior that helps everyone, regardless of how well we know them. All the signs point North, and by that, I mean they point to the Earthly element that grounds us, stabilizes our energy and brings us together. Unity has long been something we thought we understood, but in this time, we must experience what it truly is, or we will fall back into the same loops of oppression, darkness and instability that we always do.
The Elk showed itself this week, and is a messenger meant to reconnect ourselves with the natural laws that surround us. A raw energy that flows through the universe and governs our actions in ways we cannot comprehend. It comes to us as a symbol meant to encourage us to raise our consciousness of our dying Earth, and come together, forming relationships with those we do not even know. Our community cannot continue to be run by those who have no part of it - the ones that sit on their thrones and watch us burn as we struggle through the darkness. Instead of looking to them, we must reach our hands out blindly, grab our nearest neighbors and unite.
Not only does the Elk represent community and Earthly bounds, but it calls upon change. An energy most fear, but at times like this, we must look to change or we will find ourselves stagnating and turning to our negative sides, fueling harm towards others. The Elk is swift, strong, and powerful and with all its fortitude it wants us to stand strong, collectively, and change the way this world sees us. We are not pawns, we are not weak, and we are not dregs of society, we are all equal, and we should no longer allow those that see us this way to govern our lives.
So the next time you feel tired, sad, drained or weak, look to the spirit of the Elk. Pull from their power and stand strong - reach for your neighbors, near and far, and rise to the change that is bound to happen for the better, as long as we stay united. And with that, I leave you for the otherworlds.
Thank you for reading. Deep peace to you, and may your week be filled with healthy vibes.
